The Cure For Feeling Stuck

There are times in our lives where we can be overcome with strong emotions of frustration, helplessness, and anxiousness because we may feel adrift in life, at the mercy of the will of others, or simply overwhelmed by the mounting responsibilities of adulthood.

When this happens, the best cure is to take action… to do something that dislodges us from the imaginary shackles of the moment by creating motion. This gives us a sense of control in what might otherwise feel like something we simply have to bare and accept.

The freeing power of movement is that it creates opportunity. Newton’s 1st law of motion states that an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion.

I highly recommend cultivating a bias for action as a matter of daily habit - not simply waiting until the moments of feeling stuck to take action.

Remember - not taking action is an action itself - so that always remains a choice. However, let it be a empowered decision you deliberately chose, opposed to a paralyzing reaction that resulted from being stuck.

By cultivating a bias for action - you create will create a great deal of luck by creating countless opportunities by increasing what is called your luck surface area.
