Become a Student of AI - Then Teach It

In a recent leadership training on creativity and innovation, I asked participants how many of them used AI tools like ChatGPT regularly. Only a few hands went up.
There were many reasons for this, like not receiving any training, or being "old school" and preferring to use their "own mind" to think, and for others, it was perceived as just an intimidating change.
This experience reminded me that, as leaders in learning, it's our responsibility to help prepare others for the future of work by guiding them to become professionals who combine the best of humanity and technology
A good strategy is to spend at least 15 minutes a day reading and learning about AI ourselves. A great source is AI itself.
Log in to ChatGPT and ask it to teach you about how AI and Gen AI work and how you can best use it as a facilitator in your work, and what is the best way to help your learners develop their AI competency.
The future belongs to those who blend human skills with technology.
