✳️ JG Insights 1: Use Post-Its to Engage Introverts in Training

Updated: 5 days ago

If you want to conduct a more inclusive training session, intentionally incorporate post-it note activities.

The benefit of this is that you involve more of the introverted and reserved members of your audience.

In many training sessions, the trainers ask for audience members to orally give their input. For extroverted individuals, this is just great - but for the more reserved learners it can cause anxiousness and stress.

The consequence is that many learners choose not to participate in the conversation, and the group loses out on some potentially valuable insights.

To ensure a more inclusive and insightful experience for everyone in the room - intentionally plan some questions where members write their thoughts on post-it notes - then hand them in to be either read - or visually shown on a wall to the group.
