A powerful mindset shift for training sessions is to see them as a conversation you are having with and among your learners.
For me, this was a powerful shift in thinking and practice as it took the focus off of traditional knowledge transfer, and always needing to have answers, to one where much of the learning happened through pulling the material from the learner's experience and connecting it to the material through discussion.
The result was that that the learners in the room were more engaged and receptive to what was being taught as they became a crucial source of the process, not just the receivers of the material.
Furthermore, it changed how I created my programs in that they were much less content heavy, and had much more space to "breath" to allow for conversations to expand.
The next training you are called to lead, approach it like you're having a conversation with your audience. Rather than talk at your learners, fill it with questions, curiosity, and collaborative discussion so you talk with and among
