As I reflect on the most meaningful feedback that I have received from a training session, my mind turns to … “that was useful”. Those 3 words show that the audience found value in the time they committed to the training.
It's important feedback to strive for… I would even say better than “ that was great” because if it has greater utility for them, it's more likely to stick.
To make your trainings more useful, design your programs from your learner's pain and work backwards. A great way to do this is to always conduct a pre-session questionnaire during the design process.
